Aceiro — Master Braider from Angola

Tyumen has plenty of braiders who took a course in box braids. And then there's me — someone for whom braids were part of life long before they became a profession.

I braid children from this age

I was born and raised in Angola. Where I'm from, girls learn to braid before they learn to read: first on dolls, then on younger sisters, then on anyone who'd sit down next to you. By twelve, I was braiding half our neighbourhood.

In Africa, braids aren't a “beauty service” — they're a language. A braid tells you what family someone comes from, what occasion they're getting ready for, how much patience and taste their braider has. That's why “good enough” doesn't exist for us — only neat does.

When I moved to Tyumen, I saw that people here love afro braids, but braid them differently: faster, tighter, with little care for the hair. Clients started coming to me to get “re-braided” — and were amazed that their head didn't have to hurt.

Today I braid everything: box braids, zizi, cornrows, removable dreads, afro curls — for adults and children. Every piece of work I do the way I would back home: tight, gentle, and with respect for your hair.

No pain means done right

Over-tightened braids are a braider's mistake, not a “normal first few days”. After my braiding, your head doesn't ache.

The price comes first, not after

I quote an exact price from a photo of your hair before the work starts. The hair is included — no extra charges will appear.

Your hair matters more than the hairstyle

I choose the technique to match the condition of your hair, and I'll tell you honestly if some option isn't right for you.
