Not if the braider works with the right tension and takes the braids down properly. Hair actually rests in braids: less friction, styling and blow-drying. After the take-down you'll shed the hair that “accumulated” — that's normal, it would have fallen out anyway.

Not with me. Pain and headaches in the first days are a sign of over-tightened braids — a braider's mistake. My braiding is firm but comfortable.

It's braided into a plait inside the loc and doesn't mat. Take the dreads out — and your hair is exactly as it was.

Yes. I'll choose the technique and the weight of the material to match your hair's condition. If your hair is badly damaged, I'll tell you honestly that it's better to treat it first.

Box braids and removable dreads — 1.5–2 months, zizi — 1–1.5 months, cornrows — 2–4 weeks, afro curls — 2–4 weeks.

Once every 7–10 days with diluted shampoo along the partings. After braiding I give you a care guide with exact instructions for your style.

Yes — afro hairstyles were made for it. After salt water, rinse with fresh water. Kanekalon isn't afraid of sun or chlorine.

Come in for a take-down (from 1,000 ₽) — I'll unbraid carefully and show you how to restore your hair. You can also do it yourself following my instructions.
