What box braids cost in Tyumen — and what goes into the price

The most common question in my inbox is "how much?". Here's the full answer, no secrets.
Base prices
- Classic box braids — from 5,000 ₽
- Box braids with kanekalon (any colour) — from 5,500 ₽
- Zizi (reusable) — from 4,500 ₽
- Cornrows — from 2,000 ₽
- Safe removable dreads — from 5,500 ₽
- Kids' styles — from 1,800 ₽
Every price already includes the material. Some braiders charge for kanekalon "separately" — and the real total surfaces only after the work is done. With me, the number you hear before braiding is the number you pay.
What affects the price
Hair length. The longer your own hair, the more time and material it takes. Very long hair (40 cm and up) — plus 1,500 ₽; very short (3–5 cm) — plus 1,000 ₽, because it's harder to braid.
Volume. Standard volume is 100–150 braids. Want it fuller — that's more material and more hours, plus 1,500 ₽.
Colour. Single-colour braiding comes at no extra charge. A complex mix of three or more colours, or an ombre, is plus 1,000 ₽: those combinations are assembled by hand from different packs of kanekalon.
Why prices range from 2,500 to 8,000 ₽ between braiders
Cheaper usually means: material not included, braiding done fast and tight (hello, headache), and frizzy braids three weeks in. Tight African braiding wears for 1.5–2 months — per month of wear, it works out cheaper than the "budget" option.
